Angela Farrister Phillips

Mrs. Angela Farrister Phillips, age 63, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021.

Angela was born June 30, 1958 in Cedartown to Ralph Paul Farrister and Patricia Ann Bedford Farrister. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She enjoyed listening to music including her favorite, Elvis Presley. She loved painting ceramics but most of all she loved her time with her grandchildren.

Angela was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Paul Farrister.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Gary Phillips; daughter, Mandy Folsom and her husband, Dallas; mother, Patricia Farrister; grandchildren, Caroline Branch and Abel Branch; sister, Cindy Brooks and her husband, Bobby; brother, Scott Farrister and his wife, Terry. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 3:00 PM in Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Matthew Rabe officiating and Mr. Bobby Brooks delivering the eulogy. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Steve Phillips, Dallas Folsom, Stephen Hooks, Trey Brooks, Tyler Farrister, David Shelton, and Greg Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will include: Caroline Branch, Abel Branch, Grayson Hooks, Christian Hooks, and Isaiah Hooks.

The family will receive friends at Smith & Miller Funeral Home Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 1:00PM until 2:45 PM.
