Mrs. Elizabeth Pope, age 72, of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021.

She was born on July 30, 1949 in Rome, GA to her late parents: Mr. JD Cagle and Mrs. Margaret Cagle. Mrs. Pope loved to go fishing, camping, cooking and crocheting but most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and sweet grandchildren who she loved dearly. Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Donna Pope and her grandson, Mason Burns.

Mrs. Pope is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Bobby Pope, daughter, Melissa Burns and her husband, Jeff, sons: John Pope and beloved daughter-in-law, Jamie Pope, Ken Pope and his wife, Lori, Kevin Pope and his wife, Denise and Timothy Pope and his wife, Brandy, grandchildren: Samantha Boatner (Tony), Matthew Burns (Erika), Kayla Burns, Haley Morgan (Zach), Trent Pope, Lane Pope, Tristan Pope, Austin Pope, Hayden Pope, Megan Pope “Baby girl”, great-grandchildren: Ava Griffin, Holden Burns, Conner Griffin, Kristen Cash, Adalyn Wesson, Easton Morgan, Anzlei Carter, Hunter Boatner, Emmy Boatner and Raleigh Pope, brothers: Doyal Cagle and his wife, Margie, Darrell Cagle and James Cagle, nephew, Doyal Cagle Jr. and his wife, Charmane, nieces: Carolyn Smith and her husband, Bruce, and DeeDee Cagle King, special great nephews and sister-in-law, Elaine Criswell.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Pope will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021at 3:00 PM from the Smith & Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Redding officiating. Interment will follow at Northview Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be the following: L.D. Cagle, James Cagle, John Pope, Ken Pope, Kevin Pope and Tim Pope. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Matt burns, Austin Pope, Hayden Pope, Lane Pope and Tristan Pope.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 1:00 PM until the service begins at 3:00 PM.
