Glenda Wiggins

Mrs. Glenda Wiggins, age 81, of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022.

Mrs. Wiggins was born on December 30, 1940 in Rome, GA, to her late parents: Joseph Lonnie Minter and Ada Mae Cheek Minter. Glenda worked as a certified nurse assistant for many years. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, cooking, yard sales and making her special banana pudding. Mrs. Wiggins was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Wayne Wiggins, her brothers: Charles and Jack Minter and her sister, Evelyn Green, Corina Gentry, and Marth Lou LeCrone.

Glenda is survived by her loving children: Velvet Reynolds and her husband, James, Ada Randall and her husband, Jon, Jeri Elizabeth Dotson, Tim Wiggins and his wife, Jennifer, Joey Wiggins and his wife, Mistee, and Shena Green Gravitt; grandchildren: Eric Williams (Silver), Michelle Williams, Matthew Cain, Nick Cain, Jesse Brannon, Joseph Dodson, Samantha Wiggins, Jaeleigh Wiggins, Brian Wiggins and Bethanee Wiggins; brother, Tony Minter; 11 great-grandchildren and several loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Wiggins will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM in The Smith & Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Lindsey officiating and the family providing eulogies. Interment will follow the service at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Joey Wiggins, Tim Wiggins, Eric Williams, Matthew Cain, Nick Cain, Brian Wiggins and Jon Wynn. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: David Lane, Joseph Dodson, and Gerald Green.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
