Kathleen Baldwin Minter

Mrs. Kathleen Leona Minter, age 68, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022.

Kathleen was born on July 7, 1953, in Floyd County. She worked in a mill in Rome, Ga, for years before her health would no longer allow her to work.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rosie Bell Baldwin and David Julian Baldwin; brothers, Daniel Boon Baldwin and Buck Godfrey; grandsons, Chris Minter and Gerald Minter; great-grandsons, Brady Easterwood and Dante Julian King. Also preceding her in death were her life-long partners, Brenda Neal and Billy Meredith.
Kathleen is survived by her ex-husband/friend, Tony Minter; brothers, David (Rooster) Baldwin, Tommy Baldwin, and Billy Bob Godfrey; sister, Barbara Roach; daughters, Rosie Minter, Ada Minter, April Chapman, Ton Franks, and Leona Minter; son, Anthony Minter; grandkids, Adrienne Hardaway, Zack Pointer, David Paige, Hannah Franks, Jordan Franks, Brittany Harrell, and many other grandkids. Her great-grandchildren are Alanna, Praylin, J3, Dexter, Javier, Annabell, David, Steven, and many other great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her good friend, Amanda (AJ).

Kathleen will be loved and missed to the moon and back. Forever in our hearts and minds. In loving memory of our amazing daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Kathleen (Cat) Minter.

A Gathering of Friends to celebrate the life of Kathleen will be Sunday afternoon, June 26, 2022, from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Smith & Miller Funeral Home, 1000 North Main Street, Cedartown, GA.
