Mamie Gail West

Mrs. Mamie “Gail” West, age 61, of Cedartown passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020.

Gail was born on December 12, 1958 daughter of Thomas and Ova Belle Morris Wray. She was a faithful member of Pine Bower Baptist Church for over 40 years. She enjoyed working on the family farm but when it came time for the children or grandchildren, she never missed an event.

Gail is survived by her husband of 44 years, Duane West, Jr; parents, Thomas and Ova Belle Wray; her children, Ben West and his wife Amanda and Amy West Jacobo and her husband Daniel; grandchildren, Sarah West, Savannah West, Abby Jacobo, and Aubrey Jacobo; brothers, Tommy Wray and wife, Sue, Steve Wray and wife Betty; sister in law, Kenna Baker and husband Steve. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Graveside services for Mrs. West will be held Monday, October 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the family lot of Pine Bower Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Roger Kiser officiating.

The family has requested that flowers please be omitted and memorial contributions can be made in her memory to: Pine Bower Baptist Church Building Fund.
