Mildred Powell

Mrs. Mildred Helen Powell, age 87, of Euharlee, GA and formerly of Cedartown, GA passed away Friday, November 29, 2019.

She was born May 12, 1932 in Paulding County, daughter of the late Thomas & Dora Heath Hutcheson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Powell and son, Phillip Powell.

Mrs. Powell was a proud member of Euharlee Baptist Church in Euharlee, GA.

Survivors include her children, Ann Hulsey and husband Barry of Tallapoosa, GA, Jeff Powell and wife Donna of Villa Rica, GA, Lisa Gilbreath and husband Keith of Smyrna, GA, Stacey Mobbs and husband Judson of Euharlee, GA; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother Wayne Hutcheson and wife Ellen; sister, Anne Kirk; sisters-in-law, Patsy Payton and Jean Powell; many loved nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 2:30 pm in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home with Minister Bill Brinkley and Rev. Jeff Powell officiating. Interment services will follow at Northview Cemetery with Mr. Mark Coleman officiating.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Smith & Miller Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Phillip Powell, Alan Powell, Adam Hulsey, Andrew Gilbreath, Jameson Mobbs, and Mark Coleman. Honorary pallbearers will be Katherine Mobbs, Emmy Gilbreath, and Charles Trippe.
