Rachael Landers

Miss Rachel Landers, age 80 of Cedartown, Georgia passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021.

Rachel was born July 18, 1941 in Cedartown to the late “C.J.” Charles Joe Landers and the late Lena Wills Landers. She loved listening to music as often as possible.

In addition to her parents, Rachel was preceded in death by her sister Sylvia McAvoy and her brother-in-law, Dennis McAvoy.

Survivors include her brother, Jimmy Landers and his wife Shirley; her nieces and nephews, Robert Langley, Lawana Gurley, Jimmie Ann Cope, and Joe Landers along with numerous great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Northview Cemetery. Rachel’s nephews will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Smith & Miller Funeral Home Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 1:00 – 1:45 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
