Robert Lee Barfield

Robert Lee Barfield, age 47, of Cedartown, Ga, after an extended illness, passed away in his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 24, 2020. He was born August 23, 1973, the son of Rev. Thomas and Mrs. Patricia Tucker Barfield of Felton, Ga.

Mr. Barfield is also survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Kelly Bishop Barfield; son, Jarad Barfield; sister and Brother-in-law, Sherry Freeman and John Burns of Cedartown; Brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Karen Barfield of Rockmart; twin brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Pam Barfield of Savannah; six nephews, one niece, one great niece and special friend Trish Parish.

He was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Haralson County, Ga.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 4:00 PM in the chapel at Smith & Miller Funeral Home. Rev. Tom Barfield and Rev. Ronnie Shirley will be officiating. In keeping with Mr. Barfield's wishes he will be cremated. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and masks are recommended.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until the service hour at the funeral home.
