Mr. Aaron Little, age 81, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025. He was born April 1, 1944, a son of the late Willard M. Little and Dollie Powell Little
Aaron honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he earned a Bronze Star for his courage and dedication. He had a wide array of hobbies and interests that enriched his life. He found joy in fishing and hunting with family and friends. Music played a significant role in his life as well; he was a devoted fan of country music concerts and participated in sacred harp singing.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Little is preceded in death by his siblings, Doris Woodard, Virginia White, Wanda Jordan, Cyrus Little, Bud Little, Larry Little, Sue Tolbert, Ann Lawler, and Joan Wall.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Faye Shackles Little; siblings, Barbara Penny and Sylvia Synder and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close family friends.
Funeral services to honor his life will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home with Reverend John Carroll and Reverend Johnny McPherson officiating. Interment will follow at Polk Memory Gardens with Rockmart American Legion Brown-Wright Post 12 Honor Guard providing military honors.
Mr. Little's family will receive friends Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Smith & Miller Funeral Home, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Rodney Little, Roy Pitts, Anthony Hicks, Michael Kelso, David Little, and Larry Mosley. Honorary pallbearers will include: David Brown, Charles Little, Dustin Little, Todd Tillery, Jerry Green, and Richard Wooten.
