Mr. Adam Chase Greeson, age 41, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025.
Adam was born March 20, 1984, in Rome, Georgia, son of Victor Greeson and Roxanne Mullinax.
Adam was a native of Cedartown having graduated from Cedartown High School, Class of 2002. He had a true gift for cooking and approached every meal with care, always putting thought into the details that made his dishes special. He also had a green thumb and enjoyed tending to his houseplants. Adam loved to explore new places and took great interest in learning the history behind every destination he visited. In his spare time, he loved to read. His Christian faith was an important part of his life, and he carried a deep love for the Lord.
As a teacher at Allgood Elementary School in Paulding County, Adam was known for his kindness and his willingness to help anyone who needed it. Whether with colleagues, students, or friends, he showed patience, understanding, and a gentle spirit. He had a humble, easy-going nature and a wonderful sense of humor that made those around him feel at ease.
Most of all, Adam was a devoted father. His daughter, Audrey, was the light of his life, and the love he had for her was unmistakable. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and son, and his presence brought warmth to everyone who knew him. Adam will be deeply missed, and his memory will continue to be treasured by all who loved him.
Adam is preceded in death by his grandparents: Delores Ray, Joseph W. Agan, Margie Jackson, Van Greeson, Robert Mullinax, and Hazel Mullinax.
Adam is survived by his wife, Lindsay Irvin Greeson; daughter, Audrey Greeson; parents, Roxanne and Randy Mullinax and Victor and Jennifer Greeson; siblings: Austin Greeson (Jessica), Dustin Crow, Erica McKinney (Ryan), Heather Hornbuckle, Jody Mullinax (Rebekah), and Mandy Peace (Justin); mother and father-in-law, LD and Donna Irvin; sister-in-law, Haley Rogers (Adam), and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services to honor Adam’s life will be held in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home, Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with Reverend Johnathan Blackmon and Reverend Dale Byars officiating.
Adam’s family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the service hour.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: David Posey, Adam Rogers, Jody Mullinax, Ryan McKinney, Austin Greeson, and Dustin Crow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to his daughter, Audrey’s, college fund. Information on how to do so is forthcoming.
