Mr. Andrew L. Meeker, age 71, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026.

Mr. Andrew Meeker was born July 22, 1954, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Charles Meeker and Burnese Millican Meeker.

Mr. Meeker was a devoted man of faith who loved sharing the word of the Lord with others. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, and most of all, spending precious time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Meeker is preceded in death by his grandparents; brothers, Randolph "Randy" Meeker, and Timmy Meeker; son, Eric Meeker; and nephew, Lucas Tyler Brown.

Mr. Meeker is survived by his beloved wife, Heather Meeker; son, Tommy Wheat; step-son, Furlin Hulsey; grandchildren, Elliot Wheat, Kelesy Barrow, Chevy Harris, Fallon Hulsey, and Raleigh Hulsey; great-grandchildren, Reid Barrow and Londyn Gable; sisters, Sherry Stargell and Crystal Willbanks (Ralph); Mother-in-law, Delene Wheat; Sister-in- law, Gwen Meeker; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services to honor his life will be held Monday, May 18, 2026, in the chapel at Smith & Miller Funeral Home, at 3:00 pm with Chaplain Kenneth Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends at Smith & Miller Funeral Home Monday, May 18, 2026 beginning at 2:00 PM until the service hour.

Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.
