Mrs. Angie Lee Lorrens, age 75, of Cedartown, passed away surrounded by loved ones, Thursday, September 4, 2025.
Mrs. Lorrens was born July 2, 1950, in Rome, Georgia, daughter of the late George Anderson and Edna Bowen Anderson.
Mrs. Lorrens was a giving person who was known for her heart for others. She had a special love of couponing, and found joy in building a stockpile, not only for herself, but so that everyone could share and find what they needed. A devoted mother and grandmother, she had a gift for making each child feel truly special. She made sure to always have candy nearby for children to enjoy. She had many hobbies like shopping and playing cards with family and friends. Her door was always open, and she treasured visits from anyone who stopped by, making every guest feel welcome and cared for. She leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and cherished memories that will continue to bless her family and friends for years to come. Mrs. Lorrens was a living example to all who knew her of how to be a caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lorrens is preceded in death by dearly loved sisters, Nancy Garrett, Robin Goldin, and Shelby Jo Anderson.
Mrs. Lorrens is survived by her beloved husband, Mr. Roy “Randy” Lorrens; sons: Clifton “Wayne” Gilham and his wife, Susan, and Kevin Gilham and his wife, Nickie; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings: Vicki Nicholson, Kim Jones, Curtis Anderson, and Dixon Anderson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Angie Lee Lorrens will be held Monday, September 8, 2025, at 12:00 PM, in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home, with Pastor Michael Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Brandon Gilham, Gage Gilham, Devin Gilham, Michael Gilham, Nicholas Gilham, Thomas Bowman, Travis Bowman, and Kennon Windom.
Mrs. Lorrens’ family will receive friends Sunday evening, September 7, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Smith & Miller Funeral Home.
