Mr. Charles “Keith” Collins, age 71, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Collins was born on October 20, 1954, in Macon, Georgia, son of the late Charles W. Collins and Gloria Jordan Collins.

Mr. Collins proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a Pararescueman, dedicating his life to others. In his younger years, he enjoyed photography and hiking, and throughout his life he loved spending time outdoors, especially camping. For forty years, he was a devoted husband who loved his family deeply. His greatest joy was listening to his children and grandchildren talk, laugh, and play. Those simple moments meant the world to him. He was known for his vast amount of knowledge and seemed to always have an answer or a story to share. He will be remembered for his wisdom, kind heart, love for his family, and the quiet way he made those around him feel cared for.

Mr. Collins is survived by his beloved wife, Pam Collins: children: Jeremy Neal and his wife, Ashley, Brent Neal and his wife, Karla, Candie Guttery and her husband, Jeremy, and BJ Neal and his wife, Marienny, Sherri Cartwright, Jennifer Collins, and Christopher Collins; grandchildren: Rebeka Ball (Austin), Jessica Moore (Brooks), Madison Wester (Sam), Lucas Neal, Peighton Neal, Clint Davis (Kinsley), Cole Davis, Dylan Neal (Sara), Asher Neal, Andrew Guttery, Aubrey Guttery, Davis Cartwright, Maddie Cartwright, Morgan Cartwright, and Alexis; two greatgrandchildren; sister, Cathy Deyoung (Dan); brother, Scott Collins; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Collins’ family will receive friends Friday, June 12, 2026, at Smith & Miller Funeral Home, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM.

Military Rites will be provided by the Brown-Wright Post 12 Honor Guard following the visitation.
