Clara Westmoreland

Clara Faye Westmoreland, age 76, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026.

Mrs. Westmoreland was born in Cedartown on November 21, 1949, daughter of the late Walter Corn and Clara Bell Fortune Corn.

After retiring from a long career working for Highland Rivers, she would find great joy in visiting all the local yard sales. As a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother her greatest joy was taking care of her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Dondra Faye Westmoreland; brother, Ray Corn; sisters, Sherry Dempsey and Goldie Baldwin.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Don Westmoreland; her sons, Jamie Westmoreland (Kristine Westmoreland), Tracey Westmoreland (Anita Westmoreland), and Bryan Westmoreland; her grandchildren, Ryan Westmoreland (Chantelle Westmoreland), Haley Heaton (Jeremy Heaton), Ashley Westmoreland, Raegan Westmoreland, Taylor Westmoreland, and Mariah Westmoreland; and her six great-grandchildren, Ryanne Westmoreland, Kayden Westmoreland, Hunter Westmoreland, Madilyne Chase, Bryson Chase, and Eren Heaton; sisters, Evelyn Smith and Suzie Sanchez; brothers, David Corn, Charles Corn, and Richard Corn. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
