David "Wayne" Williams, Jr.

Mr. David “Wayne” Williams, Jr., age 57, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026.

Wayne was born January 19, 1969, in Rome, Georgia, son of the late David Wayne Williams, Sr. and Margie Marie Jordan Williams.

Wayne was a skilled mechanic who found great joy and contentment in working on vehicles. He loved spending his time riding along scenic dirt roads, taking in the beauty around him, and he had a special appreciation for music. Above all, Wayne cherished his family and the time he shared with them. His kindness, passion, and love will be remembered by all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.

In addition to hos parents, Wayne is preceded in death by his brother, Waylon Williams; niece, Stephanie Powers; and nephew, Brian Williams.

Wayne is survived by a special niece, Brooklyn Timms; sister, Debra Pierce and her husband, Ronnie, Angie Williams, and Ashley Williams; brother, Hank Williams; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In keeping with his wishes, no formal services are planned at this time.
