Donald "DR" Crawford

Mr. Donald “DR” Crawford, age 64, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026.

Mr. Crawford was born October 24, 1961, in Rockmart, Georgia, son of the late James F. Crawford, Jr. and Barbara Sorrells Sherman.

Mr. Crawford enjoyed a lengthy career at Lindale Mill and retired after twenty years of service there. He was an avid gun collector. Mr. Crawford always enjoyed playing a game of pool or going for a ride on his motorcycle. Mr. Crawford will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Crawford is preceded in death by a sister, Diane Bowers.

Mr. Crawford is survived by his siblings: Jim Crawford and his wife, Carol, Debbie Adams, and Dan Sherman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
