Edward Adrian Gilham

Mr. Edward Adrian Gilham, age 76, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

Mr. Gilham was born on January 28, 1950, in Rome, Georgia, son of the late George Gilham and Velma Garrett Gilham.

Mr. Gilham was a hardworking man who loved the simple things in life. He enjoyed cutting grass, working on cars, planting flowers, riding his four-wheeler, and playing a game of pool.

He worked in construction and took great pride in providing for and taking care of his family. Most of all, he loved his family. They were his greatest joy, and he treasured the time he spent with them.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. His memories will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gilham is preceded in death by his sister, Willene Chambers (Houston); brothers: CL Gilham (Linda), and Clifton Gilham; and brother-in-law, James Ashley, Jr.

Mr. Gilham is survived by his children: Eddie Shane Burkhalter (Kristi), Becky Thomas, Adrian Amos Burkhalter, Sara Marie Williams (Bryan), and Sammy Gilham; four dearly loved grandchildren; girlfriend, Judy Chambers; brother, James Gilham; and sister, Debra Ashley; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In keeping with his wishes, no formal services are planned at this time.
