Elihu Jared Stringer

Infant Elihu Jared Stringer was born on Friday, August 21, 2026, and later passed away, surrounded by love, the same day.

Elihu’s name has a meaningful biblical connection to the story of Job. He was someone in Job’s story who taught us that God has a purpose for everything in life. We can trust in His wisdom and power, even in the midst of sorrow. His life is a reminder of Psalm 46:1: “Our God is our refuge and strength; a very present help in trouble.” His name, Elihu Jared, meaning “My God is, He shall come down” is a picture of God’s presence and faithfulness. His little life touched the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Elihu will be remembered with tenderness, held forever in the hearts of his family, and entrusted into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father.

Elihu was born in Rome, Georgia, son of Caleb Stringer and Rachel Stringer.

Elihu is survived by his loving parents; numerous grandparents; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
