Mrs. Glenda Hope Rosenberger, age 70, of Cedartown passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Rosenberger was born in Rome, Georgia August 27, 1946, a daughter of the late Doice Chandler, Sr. and Nellie Jackson Chandler. Her family had moved from Cedartown to New Jersey in 1953 to open the Chandler Clothing Store where she worked for many years. She moved back to Cedartown in 2011 to be back home near family after the death of her husband Leroy Rosenberger.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Doice Chandler, Jr..
Mrs. Rosenberger is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Todd (Jim) of Pennsville, New Jersey; sons: Kevin Rosenberger (Michelle) of Cedartown and Kent Rosenberger (Kim) of Maryland; grandchildren: Kristina Todd, Santana Todd, Kayla Rosenberger, Gavin Rosenberger and Camden Rosenberger, several cousins also survive.
Graveside funeral and interment services will be held Monday, July 17, 2017 at 11:30 AM at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jason Purser officiating.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Kevin Rosenberger, Kent Rosenberger, Matthew Jones, Brent Parris and Jimmy Parris.
The family will receive friends at Smith & Miller Funeral Home Monday, July 17, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
