Glenda Brown Lemacks, age 76, of Cedartown, passed away, Saturday November 30, 2019.
She was born in Jayess, Mississippi, January 10, 1943 to the late Ray Brown and Flora Boyd Brown. Glenda grew up on a farm in Mississippi and later moved to Florida. She moved to Cedartown where she has resided for the past forty years. She was an active and proud member of The Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church in Cedartown. She enjoyed helping others and was a humble woman and loving wife for fifty years who kept her family first.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Lemacks; her sister, Sara Jifer and her grandchildren: Candi and Josie Bagley.
Glenda is survived by her sons: Stanley and Michael Lemacks, her daughter, Theresa Davis, her grandchildren: Jonah Bagley, Marcus Lemacks, Aaron Davis, Derek Davis and Bethany Lemacks, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 1:00 PM at The Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church, 5979 Rome Highway, Cedartown, Georgia, 30125 officiated by Rev. Mark Fogarty and Mr. Stanley Lemacks. Mrs. Lemacks will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Northview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 6, 2019 from 6:00-9:00 PM at The Smith & Miller Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Derek Davis, Marcus Lemacks, Bill Birdsong and Jonah Bagley.
