Huel "Wayne" Stroup

Mr. Huel "Wayne" Stroup, age 74, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025. 

Mr. Stroup was born April 29, 1951, in Cedartown, Georgia, son of the late Milton Bud Stroup and Bassel Hulsey Stroup. 

Mr. Stroup had a lengthy career at General Motors. After retirement, he went on to do Auto Body work. He had a special love for cars and enjoyed drag racing. Mr. Stroup always enjoyed a game of poker with friends. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother and he will be deeply missed. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Stroup is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mrs. Brenda Sue Stroup, and daughter, Tammy Stroup.

Mr. Stroup is survived by his daughters, Tracey Gunn and Tina Ayers; grandchildren: Andrew Ayers and Zachary Gunn; great-granddaughter, Shaveha Grace Banks; brothers: Ty Stroup and Phillip Stroup; and sister, Mary Stroup. 

No formal services are planned at this time.
