James Wilson

Mr. James Wilson, age 69, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025.

Mr. Wilson was born November 1, 1955, in Cedartown, Georgia, a son of the late William Richard Jackson Wilson and Nancy Parham Wilson. 

Mr. Wilson proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a creative person and had the ability to turn any of his talents into a job. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Rachel Wilson Rushing, and brother, Rickey Wilson. 

Mr. Wilson is survived by his children: James Wilson, Jr., Jeremy Wilson and his wife, Nicole, and William Ray Cody Wilson; dearly loved grandchildren: Caitlin Thomas, Wyatt Rushing, Victoria Wilson, and Lucas Wilson; sisters: Lorie Wilson Kitchens, and Elizabeth Wilson Talley; step mother, Mary Wilson; nieces and nephews: Steven Kitchens, David Kitchens, Michael Kitchens, and Velora Welchel; life long friend, Dennis Coburn; and multiple cousins. 

A memorial service will be held on June 14, 2025, at Faith Baptist Church, at 2:00 PM, with Minister James Nelson officiating.
