Jann Edwards

Mrs. Jann Edwards, age 73, of Cedartown passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026.

She was born on November 6, 1952, in Columbus, Georgia, daughter to the late Julian Kelly (Mac) McLendon and Juliet Pope (Judy) McLendon.

Jann had a love for horses, spending many days riding and taking care of them. Her appreciation for the simple pleasures of life was evident while sitting on the front porch, savoring "Blue Skies and Sunshine". She was always thankful for her good life and respected everyone she encountered. Jann's proudest achievement was her two boys, leaving them a legacy of positivity. Her caring nature extended beyond her family; she was also known for taking in stray animals and providing them a meal and shelter.

In addition to her parents, Jann is preceded in death by her loving husband, Dr. Randy Edwards; her beloved son, Chad Edwards; and brother, Julian McLendon, Jr.

Mrs. Edwards is survived by her son: Marcus Edwards and his wife, Whitney; grandchildren: Will Edwards, Jillian Edwards, Katelyn Edwards, Madison Edwards, Mackenzie Edwards, Emma Edwards, and Ian Edwards. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
