JoAnn McCrickard

Mrs. JoAnn McCrickard, age 87, of Cedartown, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

Mrs. McCrickard was born April 18, 1938, in Cedartown, Georgia.

Mrs. McCrickard known lovingly as “Mama” to so many, she was full of life and always ready for an adventure. She loved to travel, never missing a chance to explore new places and meet new faces. A visit to the casino was one of her favorite pastimes, and she lit up any room with her laughter and charm. She was also an avid pool player, never turning down a good game. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and beautiful memories that will be cherished by all who knew her.

Mrs. McCrickard is preceded in death by her mother, Emma Hill Sorrells; husband, Mr. Grady Carl McCrickard; sons: David McCrickard, Ronald McCrickard, and Wayne McCrickard; and brother, Herman "Pat" Nation.

Mrs. McCrickard is survived by her daughter, Cheryll Couch and husband, Scott; grandchildren: Blane Edwards and his wife, Kia and David Grayson Couch; great grandchildren, Paisley, Walker, and Waylon Edwards.

Friends will gather Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the family lot at Northview Cemetery to honor her life.
