Mr. Johnny Williams, age 85, passed away, Friday, June 25, 2026.

Mr. Williams was born December 14, 1940, in Cumberland Mountain, Alabama, son of the late Gettege Blurford Williams and Jessie Pearl Davis Williams.

Mr. Williams was a true outdoorsman who found great joy in hunting and fishing. Music was one of his greatest passions, and he was a talented musician who especially loved playing the guitar and harmonica. Known for his unwavering work ethic, Mr. Williams dedicated many years to Wheeler's Lumber, where he served as a yard boss. Even in his free time, he was never one to sit still and always found something productive to do. Above all, he was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and beloved brother. His kindness, dedication, and love for his family will be remembered always, and he will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Hudgins Williams, and son, Joseph Williams.

Mr. Williams is survived by his children: Judy Garner, Marie Clement, and Elizabeth Hulsey; grandchildren: John Dyer, Tina Morales, Bradley Kincannon, Matthew Kincannon, and Thomas Hulsey; and great-grandchildren: Azalea Dyer, Diammond Morales, Zaden Morales, Aiden Kincannon, and Dominic Hulsey.

Funeral services to honor his life will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 1:00 PM, in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home, with Chaplain George Nix officiating.

Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Henry Ridley, Matthew Kincannon, Franky Hudgins, Steve Carter, Matthew Carter, Zackery Carter, and Donald Johnson.

Mr. Williams’ family will receive friends at Smith & Miller Funeral Home, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 11:00 AM until the service hour begins.
