Kathy Renee Johnson

Mrs. Kathy Renee Johnson, age 68, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

Mrs. Johnson was born June 18, 1957, in Jacksonville, Florida, daughter of Mary Lou Griffis Day and the late Harvey Lee Hester.

Mrs. Johnson dedicated her life to being a homemaker and loved her family deeply. She found a lot of joy in time spent with her church family. Above all, Mrs. Johnson was a loving wife and mother. Her son, Christopher, was her world. Her presence will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her father, Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Johnson; and brother, Dewayne Hester.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her son, Christopher Johnson; mother, Mary Lou Griffis Day; and brothers: Darrell Hester and his wife, Starlyn, and David Hester and his wife, Jackie.

In keeping with her wishes, there are no formal services planned at this time.
