Leigh Ann Wilks Winecoff

Mrs. Leigh Ann Wilks Winecoff, age 66, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026.

Leigh Ann was born May 30, 1960, in Memphis, Tennessee, daughter of the late Charles Harper, Sr. and Bobbye Harper.

Leigh Ann was someone with a generous heart, and a wonderful sense of humor. She had a remarkable gift for making people laugh, lifting spirits with her quick smile and personality. Whether through a funny comment or a thoughtful gesture, she had a way of brightening your day.

She loved serving others through her work at Community Share Ministries, where she shared God's love with so many. Leigh Ann also loved flowers, enjoyed giving gifts, and found joy in making other people feel special.

If you were blessed enough to know Leigh Ann, you know what a gift she was. Her kindness, laughter, and generous heart will be missed more than words can say, but the memories she leaves behind will continue to bring smiles for years to come.

She is survived by her spouse John Winecoff; children: Clayton Wilks, Caitlin Wilks, and Clinton Wilks; grandchildren: Harper Wilks, Jackson Edwards, and Hadleigh Edwards; and brother: Charles Harper, Jr.

In addition to her parents, Leigh Ann is Preceded in death by her sister, Lyne Chaffin.

A celebration of life memorial will be held July 5th, 2026, at Connect Church, at 770 Huntington Road in Cedartown, Georgia at 3:00 PM, with Pastor Clenta Walker and Pastor Jason Slaughter officiating.
