Margaret "Becky" Rebecca Collins

Mrs. Margaret “Becky” Rebecca Collins, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on September 27, 2026, in Cedartown. She was born on June 9, 1971, in Cedartown, and will be remembered with deep love by all who knew her. 

Becky built a meaningful life centered on family, compassion, and dedication to others. She earned an associate’s degree and went on to serve as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Floyd Medical Center for 27 years, a career she truly loved. Her years in nursing reflected her caring nature and her commitment to helping those around her.

Above all else, Becky loved her family dearly. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment she was able to spend with them. She also enjoyed motorcycles, camping, and time at the lake, finding happiness in simple pleasures and shared experiences with the people she loved most.

She is survived by her husband, Scott Collins; her children, Magen Reddish Highfield and her husband, Jeremy, Jessica Brooke Collins, and Jordan Scott Collins; her mother, Nellie Elizabeth “Beth” Collins; her grandchildren, Kaiden Allen, Kambree Miller, Kaizlyn Highfield, and Hanzlee Brooke Chastain.

She was preceded in death by her father, Billy James “B.J.” Reddish. 

A Visitation to celebrate and honor Mrs. Collins will be held on September 30, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Smith & Miller Funeral Home. In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Collins will be cremated, and a private graveside memorial service will be held at a later date at Northview Cemetery. 

Becky’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, in the care she gave throughout her nursing career, and in the many cherished moments she created with those she loved.
