Myrtle Hunt

Ms. Myrtle Frances Hunt, age 93, passed away, Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

Ms. Hunt was born May 9, 1932, in Cartersville, Georgia, daughter of the late Robert Lee Hunt and Lonie Little Paris.

Ms. Hunt spent most of her life in Cedartown, Georgia, where she graduated from Cedartown High School with the Class of 1950. After graduation, she began her career as a service consultant with Southern Bell, where she dedicated thirty-two years of service before retiring. A devoted member of Union Grove Baptist Church since 2002, Ms. Hunt loved attending and serving the Lord alongside her church family. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and painting. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Hunt is preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Hunt Blair.

Ms. Hunt is survived by her sister, Betty Massey Doyal of Newnan, Georgia; a very dear friend Zelia Woodward; many kind friends; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, no formal services are planned.
