Neva Marie Floyd

Mrs. Neva Marie Floyd, age 78, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025.

Mrs. Floyd was born January 20, 1947, in Rome, Georgia, daughter of the late William Lloyd and Mary Mable Baldwin Lloyd.

She was a naturally artistic person who loved to spend time coloring and painting—anything creative made her happy. She also enjoyed relaxing with a good TV show and treasured the simple moments spent with her family. More than anything, she was a loving wife, a proud grandmother, and a devoted mother. She took so much pride in being a homemaker and worked hard to make sure her home was always warm and welcoming. She had a giving heart and truly enjoyed taking care of others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Floyd is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Marvin Floyd; daughter, Kimberly Timms; and her dearly loved dog, "Teddy Bear."

Mrs. Floyd is survived by her children, Brad Lewis, and Holly Lewis; Grandchildren: Andrea Walker, Jimbo Timms, Jimmy Lee Stephenson, Aaliyah Lewis, Brittney Penson, Sydney Penson, and Justin Williams; several great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins.

Funeral services to honor Mrs. Floyd's life will be held Friday, October 10, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Smith & Miller Funeral Home, with Reverend Johnathan Blackmon officiating.

Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Floyd's family will receive friends, also on Friday at the funeral home, from 1:00 PM until the service hour.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Justin Williams, Jimbo Timms, Jimmy Lee Stephenson, Noah Harris, and Kevin Parker.
