Pamela Jill McBride Weaver

Pamela “Jill” McBride Weaver, age 62, passed away Monday, November 10, 2025.

Jill was born June 2, 1963, in Rome, Georgia, daughter of the late Delos McBride and Judith Hackney McBride.

Jill spent most of her life in Cedartown, Georgia, where she graduated from Cedartown High School with the Class of 1981. She enjoyed a meaningful career as a nurse at Northside Elementary School, where she was cherished by both students and colleagues. She also worked in healthcare for many years as a home health nurse and at Floyd Medical Center. Jill found great joy in singing in the choir at Pine Bower Baptist Church and was a devoted supporter of the CHS Band Booster Club, always eager to lend a hand to her community. In her free time, she loved traveling and riding around in her Jeep.

Above all, Jill’s greatest joy came from her family. She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, Wayne, for over 37 years, and a nurturing mother and grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched everyone around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jill is survived by her husband, Wayne Weaver; children: Kimberly Weaver, William Weaver, and Molly Weaver; grandchildren: Harlie Ross, and Josiah Ross; and father and mother-in-law, Frank and Bobbie Weaver.

Funeral services to honor her life will be held Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Pine Bower Baptist Church, at 2:00 PM, with Reverend Roger Kiser officiating. A eulogy will be given by Ellis Thompson.

Jill will lie in state at the church from 1:00 PM until the service hour.

Interment will follow in Pine Bower Baptist Church Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Tony Summerville, Michael Thompson, Ellis Thompson, Eddy Hosmer, Darryl Norris, and Jimmy Norris.

All members of Pine Bower Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Smith & Miller Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
