Patricia "Patsy" Easterwood

Mrs. Patricia “Patsy” Easterwood, age 75, passed away Monday, September 8, 2025.

Patsy was born November 26, 1949, in Cedartown, Georgia, daughter of the late Seals Richardson and Mary Hannah Richardson.

Patsy was a talented seamstress who spent twenty-seven years at Arrow Shirt Company, but her greatest joy was found in the simple things, like tending to her yard and caring for those around her. Her faith guided every part of her life, and she loved serving God by teaching Sunday School for many years. Patsy and her husband, Gary, shared almost fifty-six wonderful years together, building a life filled with love and devotion. She was a proud mother, grandmother, and sister whose gentle spirit and caring heart will be remembered by everyone who loved her.

Patsy is survived by her beloved husband, Mr. Gary Easterwood; sons: Craig Easterwood and his wife, Mindy, and Daniel Easterwood and his wife, Heather; grandson, Lance Easterwood; siblings: JC Richardson, Ann Beck, Joe Richardson (Sue), Tony Richardson (Wanda), Nancy Wester (Mike), and Lee Richardson (Lyvonne); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Mrs. Patricia “Patsy” Easterwood will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Kingston Full Gospel Apostolic Church, in Kingston, Georgia, with Reverend Mark Fogarty and Reverend Kelly Wilkey officiating. Eulogies will be given by family members.

Interment will be held in Sanders Cemetery in Cedartown, Georgia.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be JC Richardson, Joe Richardson, Tony Richardson, Lee Richardson, Mike Wester, Lance Easterwood, and Ken Easterwood.

Patsy’s family will receive friends, Friday, September 12, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at Smith & Miller Funeral Home.
