Randy Lee Morgan

Mr. Randy Lee Morgan, age 71, passed away Friday, June 5, 2026.

Mr. Morgan was born July 31, 1954, in Rome, Georgia, son of the late Harper Morgan and Nell Carpenter Morgan.

Mr. Morgan was a hardworking man who enjoyed repairing things and seemed able to fix just about anything. He had a passion for riding motorcycles. After many years of dedicated service, he retired from the The HON Company. Above all, Mr. Morgan cherished his family and treasured the time he spent with those he loved most. His kindness, strong work ethic, and devotion to his family will be remembered by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Morgan is preceded in death by a sister, Sheila Deems.

Mr. Morgan is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Green Morgan; children: Chris Morgan, Randell McDowell, Jason McDowell, and Sean McDowell; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial services to honor his life will be held Monday, June 8, 2026, in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home at 3:00 PM, with Mr. Shawn Michael McDowell and Mr. Brandon Crawford officiating.

Mr. Morgan’s family will receive friends on Monday at the funeral home, from 2:00 PM until the service hour begins.
