Temistocles "Fabian" Merino

Mr. Temistocles “Fabian” Merino, Jr. age 87, passed away Friday, August 14, 2026.

Mr. Merino was born July 4, 1939, in Riobamba, Ecuador, son of Temistocles “Fabian” Merino, Sr. and Sara Lucilla Galligos Merino.

Mr. Merino was a dedicated custodian for his church and was always willing to lend a helping hand and serve wherever he was needed. In his free time, he enjoyed watching his favorite television shows and playing Solitaire. Above all, he loved his family dearly and devoted his life to caring for them and showing them how much they meant to him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Merino is preceded in death by his daughter, Lorena Castelli.

Mr. Merino is survived by his wife, Rosa Gisela Merino; children: Maria De Lourdes, Elena Raynes (Mark), and Fabian Merino (Sophia); grandchildren: Jalou Vanscoy, Stevan Vanscoy, Maria Jose Ventura (Allen Gordon), Nicholas Merino, Sarah Merino, Sarah Wier, Angela Moss, Brooke Wier, Tara Castelli, Eliana Castelli, and Gianni Castelli; and greatgrandchildren: Olivia Gordon, Tessa Gordon, Daniela Scofield (Connor Scofield), Stefano Ventura, Harper Cillo, and Draven Voyles.

There are currently no formal services planned.
