Tressie Mae Guest

Mrs. Tressie Mae Guest, age 90, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025.

Mrs. Guest was born on May 9, 1935, in Collinsville, Alabama, daughter of the late Samuel B. Cason and Pearl Belcher Cason.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Guest is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Freddie Jack Guest; son, Jackie “Red” Guest; daughter, Melissa Robertson; brothers: Bo Cason, Leonard Cason, Edward Cason, and Carl Cason; and sisters: Myrtle Green, Louise Fontaine, Jessie Lee Cason.

Mrs. Guest is survived by her son, Donald “Don” Ray Guest and his wife, Kim; grandchildren: Andrea Jones (Evan), Donald Ray Guest, Jr. (Amy), Alicia Kopp (Kris), Katelyn Buckner (Mark), Kelsey Carroll (Phil), and Kylie Little (Jon); great-grandchildren: Hailey Jones, Cayla Jones, Austyn Guest, Avery Guest, Bentley Kopp, Aidyn Guest, Connor Kopp, Hunter Buckner (Isabella), Gracie Buckner, Clayton Glaze, Colton Cagliani, Bryson Coontz, Cora Cagliani, Henry Carroll, and Callen Cagliani; and great- great grandson, Tate Buckner.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, October 25, 2025, in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home, at 3:00 PM, with Reverend Billy Edmondson officiating and Mr. Donald Ray Guest giving a eulogy.

Mrs. Guest’s family will receive friends, also on Saturday at the funeral home, from 1:00 PM until the service hour.

Interment will take place at a later date at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
