William Sloan

Mr. William Bridges "Billy" Sloan, age 69, passed away Monday, September 28, 2026.

Mr. Sloan was born in Macon, Georgia, son of the late William Monroe Sloan, Jr. and Saddie Best Sloan Glover.

Mr. Sloan enjoyed the simple things in life, especially riding motorcycles, hunting, working on cars, doing yardwork, and spending time at the beach. What meant the most to him was his family. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, who held a special place in his heart. The memories they shared will always be treasured.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sloan is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elicia Sheryl Hulsey Sloan; and stepdad, Charlie Glover.

Mr. Sloan is survived by his children: Lindsay Sloan, and Brandi Jones and her husband, Trey; special friend, Sheri Cromer; grandchildren: Colton Jones (Priya), Landree Jones, Addison Smith, and Bristol Smith; sister, Vicki Tipps (Steve); step-brother, Gary Glover; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services to honor his life will be held Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 5:00 PM, in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home, with Mr. Tim Jackson, Mr. Jeff Rickett, and Reverend Trey Jones officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday at the funeral home, from 3:00 pm until the service hour begins.
