Yolanda Lopez-Montoya

Miss Yolanda Lopez-Montoya, age 41 of Cedartown, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021.

Yolanda was born December 17, 1979 to Conrrada Montoya Medina and the late Lorenzo Lopez Leyva. She worked at A & W Appliance in Cedartown.

In addition to her father, Yolanda was preceded in death by her brothers: Lucio Lopez Ruelas and Abel Lopez Ruelas; her grandparents: Micaela Medina Cuadras, Juan Montoya Medina, Paula Leyva-Gastelum and Lucio Lopez-Lopez.

Survivors include her mother: Conrrada Montoya Medina; children: Julio Monte- Mayor, Kate Monte-Mayor, Alex Monte-Mayor and Baby Emma Alexandra Lopez Montoya; sisters: Concepcion Galindo-Montoya, Micaela Galindo-Montoya, Maria Teresa Galindo-Montoya, Blanca Esthela Galinda-Montoya and Claudia Elizabeth Lopez-Montoya; brothers: Victoriano Galindo-Montoya, Jose Francisco Lopez-Montoya, Andres Lopez-Montoya, Gustavo Alberto Lopez-Montoya, Juan Diego Lopez-Montoya and Jesus Lopez-Montoya.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM at St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, 100 Evergreen Lane, Cedartown, GA with Father Timothy Gallagher officiating. Out of concern and respect for each other, the family requests that friends comply with best practices in preventing the spread of COVID-19, requiring face coverings and social distancing.

The family will receive friends at Smith & Miller Funeral Home from 3:00 - 5:00 PM.
